Garrett Kovacs is a metalsmith and sculptor living in Portland, Oregon. They studied
Metalsmithing and Sculpture at Arizona State University in Tempe, and then earned
a BFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design at the University of Oregon in Eugene in 2012.

Garrett has displayed works in galleries in Tempe, AZ, Eugene, OR, Los Angeles, CA,
and Portland, OR. In 2017 Garrett founded Smith PDX. Smith PDX was a community metalsmithing and jewelry studio that focused on affordable access to tools, education, and likeminded creators. They are delighted to continue their same mission forward, and to now share their love of metalworking and the knowledge that they have accumulated with the students of Multnomah Arts Center.
