Mike Chia is a self-taught woodworker and has served as a shop steward and instructor at Woodcraft of San Carlos and the Guild of Oregon Woodworkers. Mike has taught woodworking classes on shop and machine safety as well as project-based classes. His personal projects have ranged from furniture, cabinets, and custom closets to small decorative art pieces. Mike also enjoys exploring the use of carving and pyrography techniques for embellishing wood projects.
