Sherri Levine
Literary Arts Instructor
Sherri Levine is the author of Stealing Flowers from the Neighbors (Kelsay Press, 2021) and In These Voices-Chapbook-(Poetry Box, 2018) She was awarded The Lois Cranston Memorial Poetry Prize. She won First Place (Poet’s Choice) and Second Place (Members only) in the Oregon Poetry Association biannual poetry contest. Sherri’s poetry has appeared in numerous national journals and magazines including Poet Lore, The Timberline Review, Calyx, Clackamas Literary Review, Cirque, Opiate, and Worcester Review. She leads poetry workshops and creative writing classes throughout Portland. She served as a judge for the Oregon Poetry Contest and was Poetry Editor of VoiceCatcher. Sherri is the creator of Head for the Hills, a monthly poetry series and open mic.
